Kentucky Trauma and Emergency Medicine Symposium

The 2009 Kentucky Statewide Trauma and Emergency Medicine Symposium will be held at the Brown Hotel in Louisville from October 28 - 30. The annual conference is jointly sponsored by Kosair Children's Hospital, UK HealthCare, Kentucky Children's Hospital and University of Louisville Hospital.

The event provides an opportunity for health care professionals who are seeking innovative approaches to trauma and emergency care. The program will cover clinical management of the trauma patient, including pre-hospital care, resuscitation, acute care and rehabilitation. The multidisciplinary forum will feature national and local physicians, nurses, medical examiners and other experts.
