Day two of UofL Health Care's Drive-Thru Flu Shot was as successful as day one as another thousand people came out to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium to get their season flu vaccination.
The total number of vaccinations provided on day two was 1,120, bringing the two-day Drive Thru-Flu Shot total to 2,303.
"We braved the weather on the second day, but it was all worth it since we vaccinated over a thousand people again," said Linda Goss, Director of Infection Control.
If you haven't received your seasonal flu shot yet, the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness is holding its annual flu shot clinic at Slugger Field on Sunday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
