University Hospital’s Trauma Center is one of the largest trauma facilities in the country, able to accommodate up to 86 patients simultaneously. The center is staffed 24-hours a day by specialized multi-disciplinary trauma teams.

The facility features:

• 56,000 square feet
• 43 patient bays
• 14 trauma/surgical patient beds
• 5 burn patient beds
• 1 24-hour dedicated operating room
• 49 critical care beds
