Fire Drills

To make sure you will be safe in case of fire, we often conduct fire drills for staff. If you hear a fire alert, stay calm and in your room. The nurse will make sure you are all right and then close the door so the drill will not disturb you.

Smoking Regulations

As a health care institution, it is important that we educate and model healthy behaviors for the community and surrounding areas.  Implementation of a smoke free environment is evidence of our commitment to create and sustain a healthier community.

For this reason and to ensure that a healthy environment is provided for our patients, smoking is not permitted inside the U of L Health Care buildings or on the UofL Health Care campus.
