University Hospital has added several conveniences for our patients and visitors.

Outtakes Gift Shop

Outtakes offers salads, sandwiches and wraps that are made fresh daily, as well as pre-packaged snacks, premium coffee and bottled beverages.  It also offers a nice selection of gifts, including greeting cards, flowers, balloons, magazines and inspirational readings. 

Outtakes is located in the hospital lobby and is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and weekends from10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The Courier Journal is sold in the Gift Shop and in vending machines in front of the hospital. USA Today is also available in vending machines in front of the hospital.

ATM Machine

For ready cash, there is a Republic Bank ATM machine in the hospital lobby on the first floor.

Lost and Found

The Cashier Department serves as the main repository for all lost items, other than clothing, that are found on U of L Health Care premises. Clothing should be turned into Social Services. Attempts are made to contact the appropriate owner and return any identifiable item.
